I found this article especially interesting. While we are all aware that breast augmentation is a popular phenomenon, this article points out information that may in fact persuade interested women further. There are risks with any surgery, especially unneccessary ones. However, the process of injecting fat into the breast seems to have more downsides that benefits. If this can, in any way, obstruct a mamogram reading, it is simply not worth it. Sadly, because of the added beenfit of "liposuction," this study may increase the number of women with breast cancer. If the lumps are simply assumed to be fat from the implant, women may overlook vital signs of early diagnosis. Sadly, this isn't even close to the first time time our culture has put looks over health...

It's so ridiculous how far people are will to go to get the perfect look. In the past, Japanese women would bind their feet to get the perfect size and now fat infections for breasts. I'm worried what other crazy things "beauty science" will come up with to satisfy the quest for perfection.
